Holly is a very young purebred German Shepherd female, probably not much older than a year or so. She was found wandering a Texas highway with her young puppy. (Yes, puppy. She most likely had a litter after her first heat.)
This girl is sweet and beautiful. She gets along well with other dogs. She is wonderful with people, including children. She is housetrained and learned to use the doggy door to get in and out in no time. She is a very calm, easy going dog, would be good with an active family or just as a single dog.
Unfortunately for Holly, she came up heartworm positive. It's obvious that the care she has received so far in her young life hasn't been very good. The good news is that she's in caring hands now, receiving all the love and attention she deserves. Things are definitely looking up for Holly. She will be receiving heartworm treatment, she is up-to-date on her vaccinations, and she will be spayed before she is adopted out to some very lucky person.
Note: be sure and take a look at Star's page on this site! She is Holly's daughter.
Holly has been spay and treated for heartworm.. succesfully!
